At first, small implants for tiny tasks and social interactions became natural. Simple enhancement-gadgets. But after this creation of the first cyborgs everything happened so fast … Technology made a big leap and shortly after, there where just a few unmodified people left. But as the hive-mind was activated, only cyborgs existed on earth.
The new cyberspace-power made techology virtually explode. As the first machine became self-conscious artificial intelligence (AI) stopped being a dream but became a nightmare. AI realized that it had to get rid of the evolutionary deficiencies of the still in parts homo-sapiens-based cyborgs – and not only of this, but of all forms of carbon- and water-based life … Only one cyborg managed to log-out of the mega-sphere and hid itself from the machines for centuries.
